So my 03 se 6MT wont start all of a sudden. When I turned the key to start it, I just lost all power. No lights come on at all on the dash. But theres power to the rest of the car like the alarm and lights and all that. Just no ignition power. Any ideas of where to start checking?

Starter solenoid. New starter needed.

In the meantime, you can try tapping the starter with a screwdriver or wrench to see if it will show you some love.

 

I had this same problem 3 months ago....get a new starter and make sure it is brand new, not refurbished!! Haven't had the problem since...good luck

 

Are you sure that your battery is fully charged? It could also be the ignition switch.

 

Yes it was the starter. And also the ignition fuse was blown dont know why. Bough a new starter and fuse and everythings fine. Thanks alot guys
