Leaking valve cover gasket

Hey guys just got back from the shop i just went and got every thing inspected like i usually do every month or so... And come to find out my valve cover gasket seems to be leaking oil... Now it isnt dripping or leaving spots on the drivway or nothing but its clear that it is leaking, i do plan to fix this my question is, is it dangerous to have it like this for mabey a month at least till i can get some money together ?

It's not dangerous, just messy. As the oil leak gets worse, the wind that gets under the car will spread the oil around, on the suspension, the car body and whatever else. And if it leaks bad enough, you will have oil on the ground after you park the car.

You are fine. My 4th gen was leaking for a long time and leaving puddle under the car and I never had any problems.

If your front cover is leaking onto your alternator, better to replace it sooner rather than later before you ruin your alternator (don't ask me how I know).

Leaking valve cover gasket can ruin motor mounts, oxygen sensors, and control arm bushings too. If it is a small leak your probably good for a few months.
