Just replaced my struts on the 2001 i30 with Monroe QuickStruts. So far I'm happy with them.
I learned after the fact that I should have gotten some red cardboard-ish gaskets to go between the body and the strut.
What happens if I don't have it in there? It wasn't that hard of a job to pop them out if I have to... (well, wait. I had to disassemble the whole back seat and a million other parts....) but I'll do it if I have to. What's the story?
