I need help. I was noticing my car wasnt shifting right at first tranny but its just loss of power and friend ran codes. My 03 came up with the p0021 code and was told its a bank 2 sensor or something. Anyone have a clue what it is? Have a picture of the sensor or a clear diagram thst shows exactly where on my engine it is? Trying to hit junkyard today with friends see if I can find that while there. Help to know what the heck im looking for n where to find it lol. Couldn't find anytjing in 5th gen section. Should I post this there I just didn't want to make another thread for same code. I researched other threads but non showed me actual part.

 

That is the Bank 2 camshaft position sensor, which is the sensor on the rear cylinder bank. It's located on the transmission side of the motor just underneath the valve cover. One small rectangular plug.

okk well...both sensors were replaced and my car is still having the same issue. Recap is it seems to be having a loss of power, it has no get up and go anymore and gauge hits almost 5 when i'm trying to get the car to go above 40mph.

Only code that showed up was p0021 and so I replaced the sensors but car still doing the same thing. No other code.

 

Have you checked the code since you replaced the sensors was my question?
