Found something really cool...for the heat

Hey all maxima owners without an owners manual! So today I was holding down what I believed to be my trunk open button on the remote...but it was my door unlock button accidentally. It powered down my front two windows! How cool is that? I've seen aftermarket alarms with that feature but not a factory deal.

Makes me wonder what else it does that I don't know about.

95 GLE auto....

And for the record... I have all the common problems everyone else does... Long cranking when warm, noisy front struts, and a noisy timing chain. But it runs great and I have remote controlled windows...so what gives

It is cool, I agree, wish they would have done a window up combination, I would use it more.

Domestic cars are just getting this feature when you press the unlock button for more than 5 seconds!!!!! The Maxima was far ahead already in 95!!!That's funny as hell to me!

Japanese have always been ahead of everyone else. JDM VIP cars in the late 80s had rear freezers, massaging heated rear seats, executive controls, rear AC, rear cigar station, digi dash, airbag suspension, digital GPS, TV tuner, etc. American luxury cars of the time just had nice seats and maybe a digi dash

I'm going to attempt to figure this out so when you hold the 'lock' button the the fob it will close them up...

On the 5.5 you can put the key in and hold it at the lock position. That will roll the windows up. But that was not available in the 4th gen.

The best thing i think about the 4th gens is that you dont have to go to the grill of the car and turn the crank to start it!

Duh, that's because it's a transversely mounted engine. The crank is behind the passenger wheel...

People still don't know you can do this? In 2014...

It's a nice little feature, I've used it ZERO times, ever.
