Do wheels from a 2000/5th gen match?

Do factory 16" wheels from a 2000 Maxima have the same offset and width as a '99 Max factory 16"?

Thanks,

4th gen, 5th gen and more are all interchangeable.
The 17 inch 5th gen wheels look hot on 4th gen.

Will they fit? Yes
Exact same width and offset? Not sure, but if not, it has to be very close.

c'mon man, it's a max. weight might be different, offset, but the wheels will assuredly fit.

The 99 & 2K steel wheels had an offset of 40mm. These were 15 inch.

The 99 aluminum wheels had an offset of 45mm. These were 16 inch.

The 2K 16 inch aluminum wheels had an offset of 40mm.
The 2K 17 inch aluminum wheels had an offset of 45mm.

Whatever differences in width and offset will be minimal and quite compatible.

These are 2000 I30 16" rims on my 1998 I30;

Thanks Dennis. That's the hard hitting info I was looking for :-)

Seems odd that the 17's would have more negative offset. I'd figure they'd probably be wider, so they'd offset them less and distribute the width equally, but maybe they get too close to the fender so they sent some of it inward.

Either way, it sounds like a close enough match.
