Shudder when accelerating..shaking...warpped rotors

I have noticed a weird shudder when accelerating on my 09. It'll happen more on left turns but can also occur when acclerating in a straight line but not every single time. Seems more likely to happen on slow, gradual accelerating vs. punching the gas pedal as well.

I also have a steering wheel shake at highway speed and the aforementioned warpped rotors; so bascially a lot of shaking going on. I am wondering if this would have caused any premature failure to suspension componets? Also saw something about the CVT being in a higher gear? Does feel a bit mechanical and this is my first CVT and front wheel drive car. (Miss RWD).

Rotors will be turned and wheels balance soon; hopefully that'll solve a few problems.

Thanks
-Ed

Taking care of the rotors and balancing the wheels will be a good start. Another potential failure could be CV axles (potentially a an axle that was binding when you make your left turn. Either way start with the two obvious problems first.

Good call, I will check those out! Hoping I can jack the car up this weekend and look. I need to swing by Nissan and have them take the wheel locks off.

Vehicle probably did not come with the wheel lock key. 09stlmaxima, check your trunk and in the spare tire area under the trunk carpet, it may be sitting in there inside a bag. That is where my dealer put mine at so nobody would go around and steal the key in the glove box if the car was sitting in the lot. Overall, a good tip for anybody since it will be right in your face if you ever need to use the spare tire.

No dice on the wheel lock. I did notice that the two hook was also missing so maybe it was victim to the 'for the taking' at one point in its life.

Oh and Nissan 1. has the key and 2. will swap them for the standard lug. At least that's what they told me when I was there two oil changes ago. Sam's didn't have the key when I was there today. Wanted to get the $3.88/tire balance and rotate done to see if that would solve it or tell me if it's something more like a bent rim or bad tire. Stay tuned!
