Front seat belt buckles

Hey guys,

I have found one pet peeve with my 7th gen, and am curious if anyone has had this issue. Front seat belt buckles like to flop over. It seems like they have a crease in the hard rubber. When getting into the car I always end up sitting on the buckle. I was under the impression they are suppose to stand up and not flop over on to the seat. I can understand the back ones doing it because they are the nylon cloth, but the fronts?

Does anyone else have this issue? I'm curious if this is something I can have the dealer replace for free because it does relate to the seat belt.

Yeah, mines floop over too. It doesn't tuck into the side nor does it stand right

I don't have that problem. The buckles are as straight up as they were in 2009. There is no crease across the hard rubber as you describe but can see that could happen if someone sat on the straight up buckle and bent it over.

One thing I noticed is seat belt light some times goes out when I move the buckle around without actually hooking in the seatbelt.
