To all those with Diamond clears that fogged up...try this
Well it finally happened to me. Part of my diamond clears fogged up with water. Luckily it was the small left peice so I just popped it out. This is what you do
1)Get several Q-Tips and tape them together in the form of a straight line.
2)Stick it in their and rub around

I also tryed hair-drying it. That helped dry it up generally, but the Q-tips really worked the best. Now all we gotta do is remember to be carefull when washing the car!

I got some silicone and sealed my regular bumper clears, figured I'd do it before putting it in. Be safe than sorry.
I'm still waiting for procarparts to send me the remaining 2 pieces. THey've sent me diamond cut replacements twice already
I want my regular clears

I believe they fog up because water gets into the lights. The vent tube at the back of the housing will allow the moisture to escape, but it will take a while.
However, the vent tube is for water vapor, not moisture. If you've got a leak (usually between the housing & the lens), water gets in.
I went to Autozone and got some automotive silicone sealant, and sealed the seam between the lens & housing. Used my finger to spread it evenly, so it wouldn't be obvious. Pain to get off the skin though
Small price to pay, to prevent the fogging ... I think

You can also try this...
Just drill a small hole in the bottom of the lens and forget about it , you will never have this problem again. No q-tips, no silicone, nothing else needed. I have done this before on other cars and it solves that problem.
yea
I had the same problem with my fog lights on my 3rd gen. Actually did the same thing Craig Mack
Q-tips... also just took the fogs off for a 1/2 day and left them sit there, when there is air getting inside and stuff it clears up a little. Hope i won't have this problem with my diamond cut lenses, which should be here soon
