FS: 5.5 Gen Black Grounding Kit (Automatic Transmission)

This listing is for a brand new 02-03 Nissan Maxima Automatic Transmission Grounding kit with a translucent, black jacket. The kit includes all mounting hardware needed for install and picture, step by step instructions.

$32.05 shipped in the United States / $39.05 shipped to Canada.

• Big three upgrade is an extra $18.

The benefits of the kit include but are not limited to:

• Higher gas mileage

• Better radio reception

• Faster power windows

• Brighter interior and exterior lights

• Faster and easier start up

• Smoother idle

• Faster Rev

• Faster automatic transmission shifts

• Heavy draw electrical accessories like your fan does not cause light dimming or effect your idle in any way.

• Longer alternator life

• Less voltage spikes means aftermarket LEDs will be far less likely to burn out in your car. (Especially protects on start up)

• Aftermarket LEDs will cut all the way off (If you have that problem).

• Made with 4 Gauge wire and copper terminal ends.

• Step by step picture instructions provided in package

• Comes with all mounting equipment needed.

• In General your car will feel like new in some ways even better than new in others. (Especially the auto shifts)

• I stand by my products with a 30 day no questions asked return policy and a indefinite time frame for build quality.

A explaination of the big three upgrade (admittedly a bit long, fair warning ):

The standard kit is a grounding kit, plain and simple. What is does is stabilize your car electrical system by creating a superior and far more efficient ground path than stock, which is both underspec'd when new and definitely over matched once it get old and corroded.

A big three kit however, is a method usually employed by audio system installers to simply improve the charging system in your car by creating a secondary, low resistance connection between your battery and your alternator.*Typically this connection between the battery and alternator happens through the main charging cable that all your electronics draws power from. However that wire is long and has a heavy draw on it.

A big three is like a "short cut, express highway" that has no draw on it, is made of superior wire and is less than half the length of the regular main charging cable. This effectively removes bogging of your engine when heavy electical draw is occuring like when your radio, AC, lights and engine cooling fan comes on. Not to mention making your crank almost instant. If you are having problem with headlight brightness a big 3 typically eliminates it entirely whereas a grounding kit simply improves it.

For a big three kit to work it requires the "high speed charging wire" but also two supplemental grounds that effectively complete the circuit, otherwise the charging wire is limited by your stock battery and alternator grounds making that wire usless.

Big 3 wires are also a must if you have a high output alternator as your car will not be able to take advantage of the extra amperage output without one. My big three upgrade is actually only two wires as my standard kit already employs a supplemental battery ground. Needless to say but a big 3 also improves battery charging and help a ton with alternator life.
