My CF hood is now gone. I guess wear from sun/salt from winter and being parked up. There is no clear coat left on the hood, except for just around the headlights. Is this an easy fix if I go to an autoshop? Meaning just a quick re-finish with fresh clearcoat?

You can use Megs D151 to polish it down, but in your case a new coat of top coat would be more suitable.

 

Sand the remaining clear off and get to work.

I'd thin out some spar urethane with mineral spirits and apply. Should come out looking brand new.
