The climate controls on my 2004 Maxima SE do not work. Therefor I have not heat, defrost, fan, AC.


What is the cause of this problem? How can it be fixed and where should I get the parts.


I read some threads and the Unified Meter Box was mentioned.

 

The Unified Meter Control Unit is located behind the climate controls beneath the stereo. There's a video on Youtube that explains how to remove the stereo. The box is a small white plastic box that has a couple harness connectors in the back. Changing it out is pretty easy, remove a couple screws and pull the connectors.
