New Maxima photoshop & design discussion

I did a quick photoshop to do something about those horrid wheels, 4x4 ride height and the chrome bits. 5 stars look a little goofy on it.

These will all be very quick and VERY dirty photoshops

Above is the Original

You should put up the OEM picture for reference. I like your blue with brushed gold wheels rendition ALOT
Also, taking away the chrome trim brings out the 4 door coupyness of the body more. Nice.

Actually now that I see the PICs from my computer as opposed to my phone, even the dark and light brown ones look good. This 8th gen is growing on me.

I just have to remind myself to NOT look at the concept anymore.

I wanna know what they were going for. It looks kinda like a beefier honda crosstour, little beefier up front and not as tall in the back. Its so big and bulky.

It's not big and bulky until we know the dimensions. For now it's just beefy. Everyone wanted a muscular sedan, they got one!

Looks a lot better in these photos than it did in the commercial. I'm starting to like it a lot. The true test will seeing the car in person but I'm starting to feel that the design is a winner.

As far as it being beefy I don't think it's going to be any more chunky than the current generation.

I don't mind the chrome, but i agree the factory wheels look terrible.. They definitly need something sportier.. Yours look good.. I would like to see other options. I have always preferred the OEM wheels so hopefully the "sport model" will have something more sporty..

The chrome kills me more than the wheels (also love the "V motion" item to match the body color)

I personally like the front when viewed from standing near the car, but admit it does not look quite as good when viewed from down low, as in that photo. But then that is true of many front ends. I would take this grille over most. Think of the new Camry. Now THAT is ugly.

This front does offer several options for change, some of which posters here have shown us. It is sort of exciting to think of mods that will make our own car different (and better looking) than those sitting on the dealer's lot. As for the Camry front, I haven't thought of much that could help it.

Agreed! I really like the way the front of the car looks and think it is the best front on a maxima in quite a few generations! Can't wait to test drive this car and purchase!
