Starting issues, struggles.

Hello, new here.

Bought a 2002 Maxima 3.5 6 speed recently from a stealership.

Great car, but recently when I crank the key to start, it will turn but it struggles to start, sputter/stutter for second, feels like its not getting something, before it starts it'll be quiet for a second and it catches on its own with really low RPM, then I have to gas it to act normal.

It is not the same when cranking the key it just turns but no start, it feels like its not firing quickly all at once, itll sputter and start really slowly on its own.

I am suspecting ignition coils, or spark plug change is due? Any other thoughts?

Wrong section you posted in,

But go to any Nissan dealer and get the recall taken care of, there's a recall for the 2002 where the crank and cam sensors need to be changed, this might be your issue, don't do anything right now, address the recall and see if the results,

Any Nissan dealer is required by law to do this free of charge,
