ME VS 2k2 3.5 ALTIMA 5-spd WITH FRANKENCAR INTAKE

yes you read that right. we now have frankencar intakes for 3.5 altimas sounds just the same and feels really nice. our customre was VERY happy. so anyway we did the install and what not and went ot race on the mass pike
we raced three time from 70-75 to about 120-130 and everytime same outcome. i won by about one car, he's a stick with the same intake so it was all good. very good race and very nice guy.

yes they sound the same at one point i think we hit the same rpms or something and the intakes reverberated against each other, like resonance, they are so deep and loud.

Awesome! You guys are "rollin" for real! Did you do a slow pull from 70+ or did you jump the full car and hold it? One car in that range of speeds is significant enough. Those Altimas got some nads too apparently? Too bad you didn't race him before the FCI install. Musta sounded wicked with the two of you wot beside another? Is this guy going to dyno?

I like how you use your pannel air filter as a tool mat.

Haha... okay okay... you were pullin away from me a bit... but only because Matt was weighing me down. LOL Great race, though.

Okay, bottom line people- This intake ROCKS. Steve and Matt have done a fantastic job... took all of a half hour to put it on, and we were goofing around. You really have to hear the sound.... awesome. Cruising around, there's hardly any difference in sound from the stock intake. But when you gun it.... my oh my. It's a beast. And most importantly, you can definitely feel the improvement.

So, it was my 2K2 Altima vs. Steve's 2K2 Maxima on the Mass Pike (both with Frankencar Intakes)... started off in 3rd going about 70-75... Steve gradually pulled ahead, a little more so as we climbed higher into the triple digits. But hey, the Altima had a hell of a showing.... we were running side by side for a ways

One helluva happy customer,
BigT

Are those supposed to be videos? Because if they are, they aren't working for me. I copied and pasted the URLs into windows media player and they didn't work. Invalid Media Type error.

You should have switched drivers after the run so we can tell whether the Maxima is faster, or if the advantage you got was because of the driver.

Are you saying that there were two people in the Altima and one in the Max? Is Matt a chub?

What is the deal here?

How does it sound on a 2k1? I watched the vid on the 2k2, it sounds exceptional. Does the 2k1's sound come close to that? Ill buy one if it does.
