Hi Guys...

When running the ac i smell exhaust fumes...Had the car on a hoist and the tech could not spot any leaks. Manifold gasket?...Suggestions?

You say the mechanic couldn't spot any exhaust leaks? Did he check for soot or carbon build up around the manifolds too? It's possible you could have a manifold leak if he didn't check there. The 3rd gens are notorious for broken 8mm studs. You may also want to check for any holes/rot in your back wheel well arches behind the rear seat back or the floor pan etc. allowing fumes to get into the cabin aswell.

 

The tech just did a quick visual using a device like snifter with the engine running...we'll take it back and have the car inspected per your suggestions.
