pop charger

Out of the 3rd gen owners that have a pop charger who oils their filter and who runs it dry? I've generally used the K&N cleaning kit and oil but just wondering if anyone runs with them dry with no issues?

those filters you oil run off of the snowball effect, they need to trap some debris in the oil to snowball and collect more debris on it. while theyre dry or not really dirty they can let debris through

Dry flow FTW. Never going back to a oiled filter.

I tend to run them "dry". They might get a light coat of oil at some point but that's about it. I'm not as good about it as you should be, but I also haven't run one in 10 years. Prefer the clean intake.
