Just curious because I want to get the '97 Stillen muffler ($50 so I figure I can't go bad), but will it fit on my car? Are there any modifications to the hangers or piping I have to do?

I belive the '97-99 mufflers have a longer tip. I was gonna buy one from Gregory (custommaxima).

But now I have my totally custom dual catback exhaust and downpipe that roars so I dont need no stealin' muffler

 

It should bolt up and fit fine, and the only problem would be the tip sticking out past the bumper alittle (which I would like ), right?

ej had the stillen muffler on his 97 maxima a LOONNGGG time ago, i honestly think any other muffler looks better. My opinion is that it doesn't look right on the maxima.
