River City Raceway Drag Meet with Maximas and Z's!

http://www.5thgenmaximas.com/russmax...20maxz%20meet/

Adam took 2nd place in the bracket racing!

Congrats on a best time of 14.2 at 101 mph! Work on those 60 fts Adam and you will do 13s with the stock pulley!

You will need QuickTime video player to see the videos. I had to use a lower rez to get more videos on the camera to fit.

What was his 60ft times?

What did everyone else run?

With a trap speed of 100+ mph, he should be at least a 13.9.

Thanks Synki

Yeah I hope to be hitting high 13's if I can get a good 60ft. at 2.3 and 2.4 with drags its not helping I was able to hit 101mph a few times so I think I have a good chance I just need to work on the launch, and control wheel spin.

I think we should see good things from org members this year. Everyones getting faster. Now only if everyone can solve their traction problem, Maximas will be really turning heads.

Cool beans Climax!!!!!!!

Yeah now if only one of these guys can stick with their words and fabricate us a turbo kit then we will really see some fast Maxs.

2.3 - 2.4 60's on DR's

I thought you were on a smaller pulley?

Was this with 8:1 or 6:1 FMU disc?

He went back to the 6:1 now...and on the stock pully that came with the SC. 5.5 psi I believe.

He didn't smoke them in the water, we kept telling him too he just spun them up to the line.

well... I think he didn't want to risk breaking out of the bracket though right?

Actually he wanted to hit a 13 even if he broke out. He just wanted a good time and didn't plan to win the brakets....

Yeah Russ is correct I am running the 6:1 FMU, with stock 3.60 pulley. I could not get them smoking, but I am learning more and more. I think I need more practice. I was surprised to get 101.6 mph.

What type and size of DR's are you running?

I think a 3.125 pulley would do ya right

Running on BF Goodrich 225/50/15 on 3rd gen rims they weigh 50lbs each so they are heavy.

Do you think the BF's are better than the nitto's?

Whoa 50lbs, that hurts!

Which BFG's Comp T/As or gForce?

The Comp T/A is an older design than the 555r's and gForce. The gForces are replacing the Comp T/A's. So if a newer design is better, the gForce DR's are better...

I went for 205/50-15 gForce DR's, they are smallish but the lower gear ratio will help allot! I am putting them on Kosei K1, they should be well under 40#

Yeah I may get some nitto's once I wear these out, and some lighter rims these rims are killing me in weight.

What is a good size rim to get for drag radials in width as well?
