So after an entire year of my maxima sitting in the same spot, I finally got a ton of repairs and it's running again. It's been in the shop for two weeks and I just got it back home today and noticed maybe like 5 big ants crawling along the body at a time. I'd check every half hour and sure enough, there were still ants. I'm assuming while the car was sitting, ants would pass through look for food, and now they're trying to get their last scavenge in before I make it my daily driver. I washed the exterior, and they're still there. I plan on cleaning the interior tomorrow. If they don't go away on their own, what could I do to get them away? What could've caused them to explore my body? (lol)

 

The ants may have built a nest in there somewhere. The only thing I can think of would be to lock it in a garage with the doors, hood, and trunk open and set off a couple of those bug bombs to fumigate the whole thing.

 

i guess you'll have to start naming them all, 1 should def be maxy.

Ants probably rammed into every crack hole etc in that car.. He's going to have to kill millions of these ants
