Konig Caffeines on my max: Yay or Nay ?

Well, so far it has been a love/hate relationship with these rims. From a direct side view they look sweet. The 5 spoked bladed look. But from certain angles I just don't care for the way they look. When my car is moving they look awesome too.

I like em and will probubly stay with em, ($ doesn't grow on trees), but I just wanted to here your honest opinions.

Do your worst, Maxima enthusiasts.

Here are some pics:

P.S. I will be getting pics of my duals when my red/clears come either wed-fri.

Thanks for your opinions guys, keep em coming.

And Cumalot, Volks, Racing Harts, Oz, any of those would be sweet! But it comes down to: Should I get new rims, or save up a LITTLE more for a 5spd conversion ? I think I know what yall would do

Craig, although I always joke you about them, I like your rims. I think they suite the car well, and you're unique in the sense that only very few people have them. The lip looks nice too, not too goddy like some of those deepdishes . They definitely look custom, but not radical - which is why we all have Maximas. If you're going to buy wheels in the same size/weight category stick with the Caffeines.

your car keeps gettin better and better and the rims do compliment the car but there are better choices out there, do the 5spd conversion first worry bout rims later

Definitely a Yay! I can't believe that you, of all people, have doubts about it

Btw, how much for a 5spd conversion?

Its sunset and they look damn purdy Are you gonna get these rims or have u not decided ?

A 5spd conversion... anywhere from 700-1400 for a good tranny, a couple hundred for parts, and then labor

I have someone in Jacksonville who has done a few for cheep. Hopefully he will still do mine when I get the $. (if i ever do!)

After I do it and sell my auto tranny, I hope to only be 1000-1500 out of pocket.

Not bad for a conversion. I guess i'm better off driving my current car until i feel like it and wait until i can get a manual tranny conversion. I was about ready to swap this one with the 6spd but was afraid of the devaluation hit.

I'm not decided yet. Why? Coz i'm thinking wishfully. I'd like a lightweight, good looking yet cheap rim.

eh, i never really liked them honestly.. although they look not too bad on your car. I would only get new rims if you have nothing else to buy.. They are better then stock rims, just save some $ I guess.
