wheel off set question

Would like to run 6th gen. OEM 8 x 18 wheels with winter tires this winter on my 2013 with 8 x 18. Concern is that the off set of 6th gen wheels is 35mm while off set of 2013 SV is 50mm. This would push wheels "out" by 5/8 of an inch. Concerns about handling and stress on the front suspension.

No problems at all. A lot of people add spacers wider than that to their stock wheels.

I don't know much about offsets in particular but I bought 17" winter rims on CL for my '14... They came off a G37 and bolted right on, no problems or mods needed...
