Passenger side front door would not open

My '94 SE's passenger side door does not open, even after efforts to unlock the door.

Since the door must be opened in order to have access through the panel, how should I approach to fixing this?

Any other method to open the door panel?

its not a maxima but im sure its going to be the same process, just locate the locking mechanism.

i had to do one on a 98 civic only way to remove panel is a little bit of force. possibly some crack plastic pieces but i see no other way to access the locking mechanism without taking the panel off.

Search for posts by Cliff Clavin about this, as he had the same problem several years ago. I don't remember the solution, or the exact cause, but as far as these cars go, you can access quite a bit due to the design of the door handles. ust remove the handle and plastic surround and see if you can't pull the linkage by hand, or reattach it if it has disconnected from the latch.
