Front door compatibility between wagon and sedan...

On my '87 wagon, at some point someone did some **** poor door work on the drivers door and from what I can see, it looks like they broke the welds for the door beam on the rear (b-pillar edge) and every time I shut the door, I get this massive, reverberating rattle. And on bumps too. Is the front door between a sedan and wagon interchangeable? I think I've found a decent door but it's from a sedan and I obviously don't want to buy something if it isn't going to fit. It would make sense that the cars would be the same from at least the b-pillar forward...cost savings and all that, and just wondering if someone has swapped out a door from one to another.

I looked in the parts book and the front door part numbers for sedans and wagons are the same. The rear doors are not.

Thanks for confirming. I knew the rears weren't...the quarter window is bigger on the wagon (less steeply sloped window frame and therefore a bigger, different window and door). Appreciated!
