The covers are not on yet but heres what I have so far. I think they look really good! Kind of reminisant of a Skyline .

 

Thats nice man! It will look better with the shine of the cover on it. BTW, that 4th gen looks like it has tinted turn signals in the first pic.

I have a 2002 Max too, what did you do take out the stock lights that come with it and put in red ones????? because mine are white and orange.
Also how do you put on the foglights, I can't seem to do it

ya stock, like some suv's come with blackout mirror tint but if you go and get it done its not ok.

Steve, I cut the tail lights apart with a dremel(only way possible), then popped out the reflectors and painted them with some translucent(S?) red spray paint. I am not worried about the cops, I got pulled over yesterday(testing out the franken ram, haha) and the cop did not care at all. Quote: cool car is that your moms. .



Weasel, I have a can of color matched silver spray paint. Do you think I should paint over the chrome rings too? I king of chiped some of the chrome off by accident..hmm..

yes paint over chrome paint, since you don't ahve chrome handles/grille. I think thats the only thing thats missing from those tails.

 

Done, tomarrow I am going to repaint the whole insides and seal the lights back up. Pics will come too

 

If you're going to paint the chrome, make sure you prep it real well (sand, etc). Otherwise, paint's going to have a hard time sticking.

 

Thanks for tip I have some clear coat paint too, it should come out real nice.
