Rear Brake Caliper or Pad Issue?
Rear Brake Caliper or Pad Issue?
Hello all!
Hoping to get some advice on possible issues with my rear, driver-side brake.
It recently rained here, and I had that typical layer of rust from dust on the brake rotors. You know...the thin layer that typically forms due to cheaper pads/rotors but rubs off as soon as you use drive and use the brakes?
As you can see in the picture, one of my rear pads only seems to make contact with the inner-half of the rotor, as the outer half still has that rusty looking "ring".
Any ideas as to what I should inspect first for a possibly culprit? The rotor isn't grooved at all where it's "shiny". At least, it isn't yet.
