Tires on 2016 Maxima SL, good for Winter/snow?

Hello,

I noticed the 2016 Nissan Maxima SL tires have
Continental PROCONTACT TX Tires, will they be OK this year for Chicago IL winters? Or should I get them changed?

All depends on your snow driving experience. This has the greatest impact on how you get around on snow. The tires do have a good snow rating so I would suggest the first snow fall that comes you get out there and try them out. You still would have time to change them out if you are comfortable with them. I've driven my 7th gen around on the Goodyear RSA's in the snow and didn't have any problems. When my tire tread runs out I will be changing over to Continental DWS's though.
