Even after a year, this is a great car.
Even after a year, this is a great car.
I have owned this car for over a year now and I am still impressed. This Pearl Red 1995 Maxima GLE with 61k miles is wonderful. Still running on the original wheel bearings, belt accessories, alternator, and starter. There were a few unfortunate parts that had to be replaced ; front passenger strut bearing popped out, passenger side mirror got demolished, passenger cornering light replaced and TPS. However those circumstances never wavered my feelings for this car : no rust on the body, the original BOSE sound system is still surprisingly strong, leather seats are in very good shape no tears, original wheel bearings are very smooth, everything powered works, outside body has scratches and few bumps but still looks good, transmission is very strong, and no leaks of any kind. The original wheels were balanced but looked ugly from corrosion so replaced them with MB Wheels. I have been taking very good care of the seats, interior, exterior, normal maintenance. The original R134a coolant and the A/C still runs cold. Side mirrors are now defogging
.
I have sat and drove many other modern cars and I keep coming back to my Max(other than the 2013 Maxima SL my dad brought home). Looks like I will be keeping this car for another year or two, no complaints.

Only 60k miles?
Most of us have three times that, and are still happy.
Do some fixing. You are due for the 60k mile service.
You will like the car even more after that.
Some of us have bought more than one 4th gen.
They last and last.they are still practical cars. They are also fun to drive. Toyota Camry is also a great car but not as much fun, in my opinion.
