Bearing and CVC boot Repair

Looks like my 2009 goes in Monday morning for a leaky right hand CVC Boot repair. Also the right front wheel bearing is making a rumbling noise above 30 MPH. So it will most likely be replaced.

Anyone else have these problems? The real kicker is the car only has 57,500 miles on it. Is that not a little early for this kind of issues?

This is very clear common. My front right bearing wore out at 48k and was replaced under the powertrain warranty which is 5yrs/60k miles. Unfortunately your 09 is past the 5 year make. As for the boot, I currently have the same problem but the dealer wants $500+ for a new axle so I'll just ride it around until it starts to bind/click

I paid less than $100 for my right axle assembly a year ago (I think from RockAuto) and it was balanced and leak free! Didnt take long at all to install. (Hardest part was jacking up the car, getting my tools ready and taking off the wheel!) Much easier than other cars I have worked on in the past!
