Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 tires.

I purchased these tires 7,000 miles ago upgrading from the RSA's and I instantly noticed that these tires are hard as rocks. My 2012 SV rides like if I have 22s. The ride is terrible. Can someone recommend a tire that softer and offer a much better ride?

Can't go wrong with the Continental DWS, if you need an all season tire.

I have the Hankook's and love them. Would buy them again without hesitation.

How high do you inflate yours? I go with factory decal at 33 psi.

If you can swing the cost I'd go with michelin pilot sport a/s run flat. I just put a set on my 02 Z28 and it rides totally different. Smooth as a baby's butt. Handling and wet traction is freaking awesome. I've purchased many different brands of tires over the years for many different cars and I must say this may be the best tire I've ever had.
Have continental on my max and love them too but I have a sneaking suspicion if I put a set of these michelin on the max next time I'll definitely like them better than the contys.
At the end of the day it's all personal preference and no matter the recommendations or amount of stars they get in a review can determine that you'll actually like them too.

jfl330, yes I do. The car rides terrible after I switched out the tires from the RSA's. I will look into the Continental DWS and Michelin Pilot Sport a/s run flat. I just need something that will give me my smooth ride back.

That's strange as the Hankook's ride MUCH smoother and quieter than the RSA's. It felt like a completely different car.

I don't what to stay to that but I have decided to go with the BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S.

Out of curiosity, are you in a cold climate? Cold tires ride harder than warm ones, and here in Tampa, they're never cold.

I'm actually in Tampa myself. That very well might be my issue.

Absolutely nothing. Just wasn't sure if you are normally cold weather this time of year on hard tires, or lived here and never saw cold tires.

Can you give us an update on these tires? They have great reviews.

A few questions for you.

1. What size wheel are you running?
2. Still on OEM suspension?
3. What size/profile tire are you on?
4. What was the OEM tire you're comparing to?
5. What tire pressure are you running the tires at?

That may provide some help.
