Ride is to harsh- struts or springs?

So a little while ago I put Tein h-tech springs and Koni "Orange" struts on my 99 max. I love the height its at now- low but not "slammed", and I like a firm ride but this is just a little too stiff for me- I can feel every seam in the road, and get jounced around more than is comfortable when there is any roughness in the pavement at all.

Is the harshness more likely due to the springs or the struts?

Thanks!

Get some H&R springs. Very nice drop. Not too firm or too soft. Vogtland springs aren't bad either. Littler firmer than H&R's

In terms of drop height it's a wash between all three. Vogtland and H-Tech spring rates are similar too. H&R spring rates don't seem to be publicized but those should compare if I remember correctly when I had them.

I know the installation instructions advise not to cut the bumpstops, but were they trimmed anyway? What wheels and tire size and brand are you running?

Outside of that I'd say it's those Konis rather than the springs. I know Nealoc here mentioned the oranges (STR.T) but there seems to be a lot of mixed reviews regarding them on other cars.
