2014 Heated Seats

Hello, is there anyway to turn off the heated seats on the driver's side? The flip switch just turns the heat up or down, but I can't find anyway to turn the heat off. Any help here will be gladly appreciated.

Your switch is located differently than my 2009 SV Sport, which is on the front of the center console forward of the gear shift. My switch has three positions low/off/high.

Could be a problem in the summer :-)

The switch in your picture is not factory. It is an aftermarket addition. I believe this toggle switch should have three settings hi, low and middle. The middle setting should be off.

Does this aftermarket seat heater work well? The factory heated seats are disappointing.

I think you're right about the middle being off. I didn't realize it had 3 switch settings. I do think middle is off. I'm not sure about it being aftermarket. The dealer didn't have much information on the car other than they had "just got it in." 8k miles isn't a lot of miles, but I guess that's enough time to make some changes to the car no one was aware of but the previous owner.

The more I think about it, it was kind of funny someone had put Pennies in the lighter hole. It still works even though I don't smoke, but that car had a "smoke smell" when I got it.

Thanks for the responses.

I would say its definitely aftermarket. The factory heated seat switches are always on the center console. The aftermarket may work better than factory anyways. Do your seats work well?

it's difficult to avoid having coins drop into the lighter/power hole. Poor placement by Nissan.

The seats work pretty well. I can't complain about their function. I have to red the owner's manual some more. I like the car a lot.
