I've heard that petrolium based greases eat away at polyurethane bushings. But I dunno about silicone grease. Just find out what shops use on normal sway bar bushings, which tend to rubber. I know that rubber bushings are more fragile than polyurethane, so whatever works on rubber should also work on polyurethane.

The grease that you get with urethane bushings is waterproof grease. You can either go to your performance shop and pay lots, or go to a marine supply shore and get waterproof trailer grease. Its the same thing.
