Just installed a 2.5 inch cat back exhaust.......

I went through and excellent shop that Balanced Performance uses. Its topped off by a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. They did a great job, but I am not use to the noise, its LOUD!

I have noticed a drop in the low end torque, but there seems to be a gain in the mid and especially high end h.p. Hard to say until the new clutch arrives tomorrow and even then I will have to wait for at least 500 miles to dyno it.

A JW intake should be arriving with the JW Clutch, and both will be installed Thursday.

I will post pics later of the tip, and the exhaust. I am not sure if I like the tip. I will say this, it definitely flows well, I just hope not too well.

if it's unbearably loud...replace your muffler with the stock one...that's what a lot of people do who can't stand the noise...i like the sound my exhaust makes...

Its not that loud, I was just used to almost no sound at all. This actually sounds very deep. I am really starting to like how mean it sounds.

I have also noticed that the ecu has been adjusting to the free flow, and it likes high revs now like never before! The torque has also improved. It also slips the clutch much faster. The power is effortless now. Can't wait to get that clutch and intake in Thursday!

What you need is a Y pipe. The shop did my catback and it was nice deep and mellow, but ROARED after the Y was on.

Trust me it makes a H U G E difference.

Veetec did you get a resonator with your catback or just a free flow pipe?

No resonator. I wanted it to flow free, but I did want the Dynomax to help quiet it down, and it does to an extent.

I will take pics tomorrow.
