Options for best cv axles? Mine are poppinnnn' boi

Lowered 2 inches, and really don't want to go through the trouble of replacing the springs to raise the height back to ugly. My cv axles are only 2 months old and are already popping because they are the cheap ebay buy. Does anyone have raxles? Need a better choice, other than oem.

Raxles doesn't make them for our cars anymore And even if they did, they wouldn't accept your core (Raxles only accepts OE cores)

Most CV axles are cheap Chinese garbage, especially on lowered cars. There might be a good brand out there, hopefully.

Your other choice is a reman. Cardone remans use OE cores, and supposedly they discard all non-OE cores. Most of the parts store reman axles are made by Cardone. Napa and Autozone reman are both Cardone.

Cardone also produces "new" drive axles for the 4th Gen.

I currently run these ... no issues.

Maybe I'll buy a set of Cardone then. Thanks for replies.

I lowered mine with ebiach springs (1.5") drop with kyb struts about 18 months ago and no problems with my axles so far, for that drop, I like it cause its not too low or to high. I would however like to do 2" drop, thats my favorite but the results are cv axles are gonna go out so quickly and I don't want to bother with that kind of issue.

best luck to u. don't cheap out on axles if u want them to last, especially how low u dropped it.

Agreement ...

I'm using B&G springs which are also ~ 1.5".

No axle problems appear to caused.

I check things fairly frequently and have found zero abnormal wear and tear.

I'm seriously considering raising it. Mainly because of this issue and the fact that most alignment shops near me won't accept my car because it won't fit on the rack due to height. So what should I go with? 1.5? Won't go any lower than that IMO. 1.7 sounds nice but may be pushing my luck.
