Driver's Side Axle Stuck IN Tranny?!

So I've got a 02' maxima, 6-speed non-hlsd (if that matters), I've gone through like 5 axles in about 9 months, OPPART axles for that matter

Anyway, I recently replaced the passenger side with no problems a month ago, when all of a sudden my left axle started making a slight clunking noise after parking and rolling back a bit.(replaced 7 months ago or so) Wasn't very bad but I still had a warranty so I was like whatever it's free, may as well.

Ordered the new one, got everything apart and I couldn't for the life of me pop the thing out! So I had my more mechanically-able friend try it out. We tried using pickle forks,crowbars... Both at the same time ect.

Anyone got any tips at all? Any special tools I could use or anything? Out of frustration we put it back together anyway and the tie rod stripped out (my bad) so Alignment's off and now it has a wobble to it. Not sure if we bent the axle slightly or if it's just the alignment...

If you can take the passenger off easily maybe stick s long punch or screw driver through there and bang it out? I haven't done axles on this car yet so idk if there is a clip or something you may be missing.

Crowbar is the answer, really. A Crowbar and a small hammer, your just not doing it right. If that doesn't work take the passenger axle out and take a broom handle and hit the driver side axle from the other side, it will come out.

I just did this job yesterday in my '02 GLE! The easiest way to remove the left side CV Axles is to pry it out with a Medium sized pry bar. Insert pry bar between axle and tranny and wedge it out, you should here a faint pop from the little clip on the end of the axle that goes into the transmission. Be sure to listen for the same pop when installing as well. It can be a little tricky to get in, but keep rotating and inserting and you'll find the sweet spot!
