Tires Screech Turning at Low Speeds
My 2016 Maxima has about 4.5k miles. When I make turns at even 5-10mph in a parking garage with a super flat surface, my tires screech loudly! This only seems to happen in a parking garage. Turning on normal street roads I dont hear anything. My tire pressure is about 35psi all around, and I dont think its an alignment issue. Any thoughts?
The pavement surfaces in a parking garage are FAR smoother than any road surface. Typical road surfaces may look smooth, but if viewed with a magnifying glass (or felt by hand), they are rough on the surface. That enables the tires to get a better grip on the road, and helps prevent skids when the road is wet. Every car I have ever owned has made screeching noises in almost every parking garage I have ever used.
This same situation exists when cars come off the end of assembly lines and onto the very smooth factory floors. I have witnessed this in GM, Ford and Nissan plants, and heard the same screeching of cars that are not moving very fast. Ayee007 (original poster), your tires are fine.

Stiffer tread, longer life type tires are going to squeak. Soft racing type rubber won't make this noise, I promise you, it's relatively normal because of the rubber compound, and the surface you're on.
