HELP! Want to debadge my car and do a chrome delete

Hi Guys - Happy Monday!!! :P

I have finally convinced myself to debadge my silver max and do a chrome delete. Anyone from New Jersey know a reliable shop I can go for debadging and chrome delete.

Thanks

Do it yourself! much more rewarding and regardless if you go the plastidip or vinyl route for chrome delete you really cant screw it up. you just peel/pull it off and start again.

Debadging is easy, just get some fishing line to get the badges off and some goo-be-gone to clean up the remnants.

Good luck, whichever route you choose!

If you want to do it yourself, you might want to look into Autodip, it gives a gloss finish right away out of the can. I did my trunk piece and people cant tell the difference.

Hard nylon along with some GooGone would be best for the residual foam/adhesive. Consider using 91% denatured alcohol. Quite safe and you can leave it on much longer to soak in. Probably even better than GooGone.

wonder if you can buy the 40th Anniversary parts - the only chrome is under the side windows.
Everything else - including door handles - is either black or body-color.

The nice thing about debadging is that you can make your Maxima be mistaken for an Altima. What a waste of time!
