Can I swap an auto lsd into a 5sp transmission?

I have a project I am working on. It's a locost 7 that has a mid mounted vq30 from an Infiniti i30t auto. I want to change the trans to a 5speed with lsd. I und Rostand I need to find an ae? Maxima for the lsd.

I since my auto trans has an lsd can I swap it into a non lsd 5speed and just change the ring gear? Are auto lsd cv axles the same as 5sp lsd axles?

Nope.

What you need is a Quaife. They make one for your 5speed tranny.

Im looking at part numbers and the auto and mt diff is listed as the same pat number. The mt lsd has a different ring gear but the auto lsd has the same ring gear as the non lsd diff.

Has anyone attract tried this or are you speaking from experience.

Thank you
