I just got some infinity akebono brakes which supposedly fit on maxima. Should I get SS lines also? And I think I'm going to get them painted red or black. What you guys think?

 

Yes get the lines and drill and slot rotor you need to cut the dust guard because the rotor are bigger, need to replace ur spare tire and make sure your wheels clear the caliper

Does anyone know if the akrbono brakes fit behind the stock SR wheels? When you get stainless lines, are they the same as the maxima our do you have to get custom lines to go from the max to the akebono calipers? Thanks for the info on the spare tire, didn't even think of that.

 

Wheels and spare tire will not fit !! And the lines yes it will you can use the same maxima ones .

No am running 19 ' Drags dr-37 but i degree it 20 ' are cheaper on tires lol

AKebono pads suck...Try Powerstop pads....

 

I did nismo pads you can get them at the nismoshop.com .

 

But just a heads up this upgrade will make u loose HP , like slower !! Because of the Extra weight on the wheels . But it safer on braking .so i did crazy things to make up the loss HP.

Nothing i have all the mods you can do on a maxima am way thing on a tune bullydog is bent working on that for all most a year. Thinking in doing a wet shot of NOS, maybe a 100 shot .i had 100 shot of nos on my 97 max supercharge never had issues vg is a strong motor
