how long do our rubber brake hoses last

 

Just as much as any brake hose I suppose. I've never had problems with any of mine and you shouldn't either as long as yourself or a shop doesn't damage them while replacing brake components. Tbh you'll probably end up totaling the car or selling it before they go bad.

 

depends on where you live, how old the car is and how well you maintain your car. i replaced my front brake hoses even though they looked ok the rubber dries out and gets brittle. and i didn't want to have one pop a leak cause my car is 22 years old.
