brake squeal, how long til i must change the pads?
my brakes just stated to have that squeal during low speed braking. think it's time to replace the pads, but how long do i have left in the pads til i risk losing braking performance? thanks in advance

it doesnt always mean you need to replace your pads.
alot of the time is the pads making viberations against the calipers that cause the squeel.
Go find some brake grease (I think that's what its called, its been awhile), then you take a wire brush to clean where the calipers meet the pads, then apply a thin layer of the grease to the area's you just cleaned.
I'll try to get some better instructions, I havent done it on the Maxima yet so I cant really help out too much
