98 maxima keeps shutting down at red lights

98 maxima keeps shutting down at red lights

I changed spark plugs, map sensor, cam sensor, oil change, air filters.... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

My money is the IACV idle air control valve, clean it

The purpose of the Idle Air Control Valve is to control idle.

i'm surprised by the amount of people in just the last few days having an issue exactly like this that relates directly to idling/stuttering/stalling and they have replaced 5other things and have completely bypassed even looking at the IDLE air control valve

As noted above, the IACV is often overlooked. I've always been able to clean the IACV valve without issue.

Did you get any check engine lights before or after the new parts?

What type of map (a.k.a MAF) and cam sensor did you use?

Can you provide a link or part number to the products you used?
