Hi Guys!

What's the correct idle or rpm for the car? With air conditioner running ...and sitting in neutral...rpm is 1200 to 1500. When put in drive gear...the rpm goes down to 800-900? (with ac still running)

That seems high even with the load of the AC. Is it only using that high when running the AC?

 

id be checking vacuum lines for a leak especially if it idles that high warm without AC running. if it only idles that high with AC running meh let it be

 

IIRC mine idled at 600 or 650.
The answer can be found from the FSM available on this site for a d/l. If you don't have a copy, d/l one ASAP!
