Front Brake Clunking At Start-up
Front Brake Clunking At Start-up
Well I'm assuming it's the front brakes.
At beginning of every trip, upon initially starting out--usually upon the first depress of the brake pedal, I hear a clunking sound. After that it's never heard again except again at start up. I have never heard this on any car I've owned. I read somewhere it's the cylinder/piston making contact between the gap of the break pads. Is there this much gap? has anyone else had this issue? It doesn't affect braking or anything, just a curiosity. As far as I can recall it's always done this. I've had it two years...2016 Max S
Thanks!
