Indiglo needles on a SE?

I've had my indiglo needles and reverse gauges sitting in my room for several weeks because i've been busy and also pretty anxious to install them. Anyway I've seen several pics of this setup from people who have GXE's and GLE's (White needles). Now my question is how will the blue indiglo needles react with my red/orange needles? Will my needle output purple light?

If you put on your intelliglow with the orange needles, the needles will glow orange. You have to scratch or sand off the orange. The needles on my 97 se are clear. But had orange paint on the bottom. I scratched off the orange with a knife and painted the bottom white. Which gave me a purpleish look. Somone told me to leave the needle clear and not to paint white and it would shine blue. But I dont know. Didnt try that.
