I posted this earlier on the I30 forums but That doesn't get too much activity, and this also applies to 4th Gen Maximas as well

Just a general question really, I was wondering how many miles/km people on this forum have put on their I30s or 4th Gen Maximas and what kind of maintenance have you done to keep it running well.
My 1997 I30 has about 172,000 miles on it, everything is stock ( and engine that is). I purchased the car in 2016 and have not had any problems thus far. When I bought the car it had too much tranny fluid. I ended up replacing the fluid and the car runs smooth.
- I have done 2 changes and WIX - Air filter replacement
- headlights
- corner lights
- 1 windshield
- Transmission fluid flush

I replaced these parts with working stock parts:
- Bose - Front speakers

I still need to buy tires, replace the , replace power , and clean up the a bit (get leaves and other debris out) This was after I restored the

. I used ChrisFix's video and it worked wonders. They are still clear almost a year later.

Welcome to the Forum. My '96 i30 has 90,xxx miles. Bought it off an old lady @66,000 miles two years ago for $2,000. Car was immaculate, just a little dusty. Didn't need to do much to it except the usual basic maintenance. Everything else worked, even the Bose CD and cassette unit.
