The a.c. in 98 max worked fine last summer but after new compressor and new relay , almost 300 in parts , the compressor still won't kick on , please help this in my 80 year old mom's car and she loves it.

 

I would suggest taking it to a Shop and having the AC checked. The Freon may have leaked out over the winter and fall. Most places do free AC checks. If the Freon level isnt a certain level it wont kick on. Check the fuses also and all connections.

The usual cause is a leak. The shop might have overlooked something, or perhaps this leak has a new and different cause.

 

The shop is a small place owned by my buddy , now it will click but a.c. will still not come on , it seems to be holding the freon pressure , my mom is dying in this heat , what can we try next , thank you so much for your help.
