I think I would add 30 to 40 more horses under the hood. It would really add alot to the dynamics of the car.

Thinned down A-pillars so I can see where the heck my lane is on a left-hand turn.

Not much but I really dislike the hideous curved cap thingy over the instrument cluster. It's minor but Nissan could of done a better design there.

Amen to that! Its a pretty horrific blind spot if not paying attention. I am use to it and take extra caution but still...

I wish the song title and artist showed up in the instrument cluster while in XM mode like it does when bluetooth streaming or using the USBs. I wish the cupholders in the rear arm rest actually held two cups. My kids are always fighting over who's cup can sit level while the other is leaning. The cupholders in the doors can't really hold any cups/bottles. I also wish the front cupholders were the same size. Trivial things, but they kind of annoy me.

More cabin room in the back - head and leg. As is it's enough for average/short people. But I'm 6-1, and I could barely get in and out of the back. Forrtunately I won't have to do that very often :-)

1. Install tires that give the alum. rims a little protection from curb rash.
2. Install some small "coat hooks" under the grab bars in rear seats. On some occasions I need to hang a dress shirt, dress coat back there instead of just
3. Move the steering wheel heater button to an area that I can see without taking my eyes off the road.
4. Improve the overhead "sunglasses" holder so I can store something else useful in there as well.
5. Add a lighted A/C on/off button so I can "easily" option to get fresh or A/C-conditioned outside air.
6. Add an option where I can just manually slide the sunshade open or closed to suit without having to fiddle with a switch (that's just me).
7. Design the doors to give me a little more ding protection from other driver's doors. I can't even add an aftermarket rub strip without totally messing up the sculpted door curves.
8. Make the center arm rest extend just a little further to the front so I have more room to rest my right elbow while still holding the steering wheel with that hand. The Altima's is perfect in this regard. (Again, that's just me.)

i have a 2017, and my biggest complaint is that the passenger seat is just too darn low and hard to get out of. Guess I should have waited one more year

Ive heard his many times, but I have a hard time seeing it myself. Do you guys sit up close to the wheel? I sit pretty far back and never really had a problem

To correct this situation you need to get off your dead butt and do the driving for a change!

You mean two more years, because the 2018 is the same.

Your seat didn't get the lift attachment, grandpa?

J/K. The car has a low seating position.

Others, including myself, have purchased this, http://www.srautoshop.com/, to add some lift to the passenger seat. My wife is 5'3" and she said the additional height made all the difference in the world. There are other ways to do it, and the kit is kinda pricey for what it is, but it works.

A hand activated emergency brake which comes in so handy in the snow to make those quick 180 degree turns.

I just gotta add two more things, okay?

1. A real oil pressure gauge.
2. A real water temperature gauge.

Digital or analog is fine.

Not that I'm in the back seat too much, but definitely the back seat head space.

Looks like that cap was mildly reshaped on the 19s

Oh no, please, no. This is the 21st century, after all. Cassette tape player to boot? :-) A floppy disk drive while we're at it? :-)

But seriously. If I had to chooses between my 2018's CVT and my 2005's five speed automatic I would choose the latter, I don't care about the better gas mileage - it doesn't make it or break it for me.

I sit close (I'm 5'8"), but I can see how you would have not problem with the A pillar sitting further rearward in the seat. I tried it yesterday and I had no problem, but reaching the steering wheel was not as comfortable.

I'm curious. Do you live in Chicago or some city with very "tight" streets? I got lost in Chicago a couple of years ago. We found ourselves heading down a 2-lane residential street at 5pm, with cars parked on both sides, severely limiting the distance between all driven and parked cars' outside mirrors. Many parked at curbside had their mirrors folded inward, and I believe I folded ours in too while we were driving (not cool). That is the first time I had ever thought to fold my mirrors inward. I thought those danged swingin' mirrors were for pedestrian safety. Go figure.

In cabin storage. Under the center armrest and the small cubby with the USB ports in it just doesn't cut it for me.

Cooled/heated rear seats, would raise it up a notch towards luxury-ish.
or remove the bump on the rear center seat.
