But seriously. If I had to chooses between my 2018's CVT and my 2005's five speed automatic I would choose the latter, I don't care about the better gas mileage - it doesn't make it or break it for me.
CVT all the way baby!

I got an Altima as a loaner car while my old Hyundai Azera was being serviced

I noticed they put the Sport Mode right on the main shifter. I like that much better, wonder why they didn't do it that for the Maxima? At least it's not hidden away on the left panel like in the Rogue

Not at all. I am curious about the 2019.....but the Axe of the 3.5 just broke my heart.

Push button lift feature :-)

im always afraid of bottoming out, specially with the steep driveway entrances around here. Everyone assumes every car is a SUV. I scraped the bottom going 2mph over a lousy speed bump. I like that it hugs the road, but man it's a pain sometimes

Lots of possibilities, but I finally decided my one change would be to have the passenger seat height adjustable. I made that choice because my wife and I are both always in the car, and whichever of us is in the passenger seat is always wishing we could raise the seat a little for more comfort and better visibility.

Light... I installed brackets from http://www.srautoshop.com/ on the passenger seat and it really made a difference. My wife is 5'3" and she loves the difference it made, Would love to find a wrecked '18+ Maxima with the same interior so I could swap out the seat.

Once installed they are hardly noticeable.

That's crazy because I find my seat to be too high.

The only change I'd make to my car is cashmere leather, I have the charcoal leather in my SL.
